Fiber-optic cable is a key backhaul transport medium for today’s wireless networks.

As such, a very important part of NB+C’s mission as a premier developer of telecommunications infrastructure is to maintain, upgrade and continue the growth of fiber systems. These systems not only support wireless networks but also service the communication needs of residential, commercial and government customers.

Much as the development of wireless infrastructure requires specialized knowledge of and expertise with wireless technology, so does the development of fiber systems.

NB+C understands this and has invested in real estate, engineering and construction professionals who understand the intricacies of fiber design and deployment. From data collection (utility location, duct verification, fiber audits) to expansion (new rings, new C-RAN backbone) to maintenance (relocation, manhole upgrades), each aspect of the fiber network growth process is performed in house, and we work closely with our clients.

With significant experience on both outside plant (OSP) (aerial and underground) and inside plant (ISP) design build projects, NB+C differentiates itself from many players in the wireless consulting space.
