NB+C Spreads Holiday Cheer with Charitable Drives

In the spirit of giving back during the festive season, NB+C’s Human Capital, in collaboration with the POC-UIC and WISE ERGs, successfully hosted a series of impactful Holiday Donation Drives throughout the month of December. These drives, held across our offices, aimed to support local communities in need and make a positive difference in the lives of those facing challenges.

The charitable initiatives were carried out in partnership with local organizations, each focusing on specific needs to maximize the impact of the contributions. Here is an overview of the drives held at various NB+C offices:

  • Raleigh: Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina – The team in Raleigh organized a Nonperishable Food Drive to benefit the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. The drive aimed to alleviate food insecurity in the local community and provide support to individuals and families facing hunger.
  • Richmond: Urban Baby Beginnings – In Richmond, the focus was on supporting newborns and new moms through a Diaper/In-Kind Donation Drive. This initiative sought to provide essential items for infants and mothers in need, contributing to the well-being of families in the area.
  • Baltimore: Columbia Community Care – The corporate office’s contribution involved a Nonperishable Food and Personal Hygiene Product Drive, benefiting Columbia Community Care. The drive aimed to address both food insecurity and hygiene needs within the local community, providing support to those in need.
  • Philadelphia: Wissahickon Valley Boys and Girls Club – The Philadelphia team organized an In-Kind Donation Drive to support the Wissahickon Valley Boys and Girls Club Wishlist. This initiative aimed to bring joy to children and enhance their holiday experience through thoughtful gifts and donations.
  • Boston: The Wish Project – The Boston office focused on addressing housing insecurity by organizing a Basic Personal/Household Item Drive. The donations were directed towards The Wish Project, with the aim of providing essential items to families in need.

Through these charitable drives, NB+C’s employees demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact on the communities where they live and work. The collaboration with local organizations allowed the company to tailor its support to address specific needs and bring meaningful change to those facing challenges.
