NB+C Promotes John Rupp to Engineering Manager, Fiber

Network Building + Consulting is pleased to announce that John Rupp has been promoted to Engineering Manager – Fiber for the Engineering Services Division. 

John got his start with NB+C in 2013 and has lead the Engineering Services division in the Mid-Atlantic region for the past four years.

John began NB+C’s OSP fiber business line three years ago and has since been instrumental in growing NB+C’s fiber design revenue. Thanks to John’s efforts, NB+C now has a total of five fiber clients, has executed national contracts with two of those five clients, and has completed multiple fiber projects 11 different states.  Furthermore, NB+C’s fiber business line is anticipating significant growth within ES in the next five years.

“John’s promotion is an extremely important one for NB+C’s Engineering Services Division,” says Greg Tully, NB+C Engineering Services Managing Director. “Fiber expansion in the United States is the critical communication backhaul for everything from commercial and residential development to the small cells necessary for 5G.  NB+C wants to be a national leader in designing this backhaul, and John has both the vision and the talent to direct that effort.”

In his new role, John will be responsible for fiber design sales, client management and operations in all of NB+C’s geographic regions. His vision and talent will play a pivotal role in positioning NB+C as a national leader for the development and expansion of fiber networks throughout the United States.
