Season of Giving: NB+C Teams Make a Difference

This holiday season, NB+C employees have once again shown what it means to lead with heart. Across our offices, teams embraced creative, meaningful ways to give back, from friendly competitions to community drives, all in support of organizations making a real difference in the places we live and work.

This fall, employees came together through a series of philanthropic events that combined teamwork, fun, and purpose. With support from NB+C’s corporate contributions, these efforts collectively made a meaningful impact on the communities we proudly serve.

Here’s how each office contributed:

  • Team Boston hit the pavement for a walk/run event supporting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Massachusetts), raising awareness and championing mental health advocacy with every step.
  • Philadelphia team energized the office with a Minute-to-Win-It competition paired with a food drive benefiting Manna on Main Street, blending fun, teamwork, and meaningful community support.
  • The Baltimore team brought their best game to a Fundraising Field Day at Rockburn Branch Park, rallying together in support of Grassroots Crisis Intervention, an essential local nonprofit.
  • Richmond rallied around a Pickleball for Pups charity event, bringing colleagues together on the court to support animals in need in partnership with Beagles & Bentleys Animal Rescue.
  • In Raleigh, a Supermarket Sweep–style clothing drive turned giving into a lively team challenge, all in support of Note in the Pocket, which provides clothing to students in need.

Continuing the Spirit of Giving

As we move into the holiday season, NB+C offices are keeping the momentum strong with a new round of community drives:

  • Boston: Launching a Coat Drive in partnership with The Wish Foundation, collecting warm outerwear for individuals and families in the community.
  • Philadelphia: Hosting a Toy Drive to support the Boys & Girls Club of Wissahickon Valley, helping bring joy to children during the holidays.
  • Baltimore: Hosting a Food Drive in support of the Howard County Food Bank, helping local families facing food insecurity.
  • Richmond: Supporting FEED MORE through a holiday Food Drive, helping ensure local families have access to nutritious meals.
  • Raleigh: Partnering with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina for a holiday food drive to support neighbors in need.

Across every market, NB+C employees continue to lead with generosity, supporting neighbors, strengthening communities, and spreading holiday cheer. These collective efforts reflect NB+C’s longstanding commitment to community partnership and meaningful, sustained impact.
